Join Chris Wedge for a long run at the Green Mountain Scenic Overlook and Trailhead!
The run will be an out-and-back on the gravel trail/Branch Rd. to the Apopka Beauclair bridge, about the 6-mile point.
You can run 12 miles or you can cut it shorter and just do the out in the back to your preferred distance.
Cold water in a cooler will be provided at the start-finish. Run pace will be led between 9-10 minutes per mile. It isn’t rough trail but part gravel – part paved. The first and last 2 miles are a little hilly, and the rest flat.
THE WEATHER SHOULD BE COOLER but bring your own hydration and electrolytes as necessary… plenty of caffeine, calories, and positive vibes too!
