From Facebook: In speaking with her family and some close friends, we’ve decided to gather for a time of friendship, fellowship and remembrance here in the U.S. This will be a celebration of Nina. Let’s come together as a family and community to celebrate her amazing life.
September 6, 7:30 a.m. The Clay Trail, Clermont
Short program and long run (just like she would want it). We’ll have beverages at mile 0 and mile 5.
We encourage you to come out and walk, jog, run, race… whatever… in her spirit. Share a story, a funny memory (we all have ’em) or just support one another. Pace and distance are not important. But love and support for each other is required. We’ll stay socially distant but emotionally connected.
To make this easier on all, we will be collecting any sympathy cards or donations (organization TBD) you would like to give to her family in Germany. You can either bring them with you on September 6 or mail them to one of the addresses below:
